Marketing & Events Co-Ordinator
Fixed Term Project until 31 March 2021 with a potential for extension to Sept 2021
Salary: £21,000 pa. pro rata
Working as part of a small but very busy Marketing team, the focus of the role will be to assist in the planning, production and delivery of marketing and communications activities including media, promotions, social media, website, and collateral materials. To oversee and assist with the organisation and coordination of conferences, overseas visits, meetings, seminars, and other events. Ensuring the effective end to end delivery of an annual programme of events. These events will focus on driving increased awareness of regional business support, client satisfaction and measurable outcomes. To maintain and update our internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) Systems.
The successful candidates will demonstrate:
Proven Marketing, communication, and event organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Excellent analytical, evaluation and reporting skills
Excellent IT and integrated business technology skills, particularly Microsoft Office
Ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload, being able to manage multiple projects within timescales.
Self- motivated with a willingness to apply innovative solutions
Flexibility and ability to cope under pressure
Creative thinker and ability to think outside of the box
Degree level or equivalent professional qualification or a minimum of two years’ experience of a marketing and/or events discipline
